Altar Magazine Issue 1 - 2023

Altar Magazine is dedicated to cover world wide black culture but filter it through the lens of the young Nordic African diaspora. Altar covers trends in music, fashion and politics using social media, web platforms and traditional print as tools.

Altar Magazine fills in the gap where there is a lack of black owned media in Northern Europe. The end goal is a media platform that caters to the entertainment needs and interests of the young Black Nordic demographic. Altar is dedicated to curate content that speaks in the tone of black excellence, uplifting entrepreneurs and advocate for stories that educate by sincere highlighting of black achievement. Altar is a media platform that dares to have an opinion in that regard and push the needle. 

Altar Magazine aims to reach The young Black Nordic adult, an avid consumer that wants to consume from such outlets where they feel welcome, respected and included.
